The services that KimotaPrime provides range from the enhancement of existing software systems through to the creation of a complete product.  Subject to customer requirements, software developments are taken through the full project life cycle from design, coding, unit testing and the creation of user documentation.

Technical areas of specialisation are Java, J2EE, C/C++, UNIX and Oracle database solutions.

Development

Software life-cycle stages are normally followed through design, coding and unit testing based on the function requirements from a client.  Existing designs may also be used as the basis for the development.

Maintenance

KimotaPrime will undertake the maintenance of existing software, either on a one-off or on-going basis.  Changes may take the form of functional upgrades, operating system ports or the fixing of faults.

Procedures and Standards

Source code created or maintained will be written to the the clients standards or using those of KimotaPrime.  All documentation will be written to meet the standard format of the client.

Location

To carry out the above, KimotaPrime currently offers the following options to meet your development needs:

• Client Site Development.  KimotaPrime will provide software development to client sites in the South East of England.
• In-House Development.  Software development will be carried out from the KimotaPrime office.  The company is equipped with broadband internet access links.

Fees

Work is undertaken on either an hourly or fixed price basis.

• Hourly fees are dependant on location and the expected period of engagement.
• Fixed price work is quoted based on client requirements.  There may be charges involved in the production of estimates that are large or where requirements capture and scoping have not already taken place.
